Review

"Dance Anatomy brings to life the relationship between muscle development and dancing. It is a must-read for every dancer." Victoria Morgan Artistic Director and CEO of Cincinnati Ballet "Jacqui Haas has created the perfect tool for teachers and dancers of all forms and styles of dance. Dance Anatomy allows one to see the relationship between each exercise and the goal of refining a dancer's physique and improving technique." James Nelson Executive Director of Houston Ballet "Jacqui Haas is one of my heroes in dance medicine. She speaks with the accomplished wisdom of two careers: dance and health care. Her new edition of Dance Anatomy is a must-have for all dancers and dance teachers who care about how their dancing bodies work. Her approach to anatomy will inspire a new generation of dancers to embrace the essential combination of technical excellence and whole-person wellness. Quite honestly, the book revolutionized how I teach kinesiology to dancers. It's also an excellent resource to help health care practitioners understand the anatomical foundations of dance practice. Bottom line? Buy it! Read it! Then offer the knowledge to others." Dr. Jeff Russell Assistant Professor of Athletic Training and Director of Science and Health in Artistic Performance at Ohio University Fellow of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science

Thorough and easy to understand.

Awesome book! Highly recommend it

This book is fairly large in size. Exactly as described. Full of the exact information that I need to finish my certification courses.

I have the first edition and bought this for a friend--I wish I could justify getting one for myself, if only for the spectacular cover photo.

Llego en excelente condiciones!

Thank you its an awesome book and you delivered it so promptly.

This book, along with the first version, are incredibly informational and helpful references. I appreciate all of the anatomically correct information along with the very descriptive exercises that are simple for dancers of all ages to understand. My teachers use this book quite frequently when addressing student concerns involving aches, pains, and twinges. I have had many students purchase their own copies because I am very protective of mine :) As a studio owner, dancer, teacher, or dance parent, this book is a MUST have. Jacqui Haas is incredibly passionate about the health of growing dancers.

Jacqui Haas has given us so much information regarding exercise and how it relates to anatomy and technique ! As a former professional dancer, she creates dance movement , breathing and technique , as if you are watching the biomechanics as you learn ! Buy it and read it! It is a must have. So appreciate this book.Carol Fisher PTCoordinator Performing Arts Medicine
