A stunning book. Heavyweight paper is used giving the feel of a good watercolor paper. Images are scaled beautifully so one can enjoy the details of O’Keefe’s work. The only caveat is that there is a mismatched image: Plate 9 Seated Nude XI, 1917 - the image used is that of a watercolor of a house rooftop with snow (one of 3 shown). An unfortunate mistake for the quality and price of the book.Her nude series is exquisite and the landscape scenes, particularly those portrayed at night, are delightful.
Never been a fan of her work but her watercolors were amazing. The book design is also remarkable. Highly recommend.
